It is still winter here even though tomorrow is the first day of spring.  We received almost 4 inches of snow yesterday.  The low temperature tonight tonight will be 5 degrees Fahrenheit which equals -15 degrees celsius.  This is about 25 degrees below normal for this time of year.

I am currently almost done & clear to graduate in June . i have a couple colleges that i would like to attend to , but i havent chosen yet .. do you guys get to choose your college? & do you have say so on what will you like to study & or major in? & do you have several colleges to choose from?

My name is Bruce, I am a 12th grader attending Gordon Parks. I am the second youngest child in the family and the youngest son. I like to go out with friends and have family time. My ethnicity is Asian-American, and what I love most is food.

Here in the United States we get a taste of different foods from fruits and veggies from different countries to being able to go out and get meals from different cultures such as Mexican, Asian, American, Italian and much more. Most of this is because we have so much diversity in America. Is there any diversity where you live and do you ever get to try foods not grown in Africa or from a different culture?

Hey my name is Shaquita I'm 19 years old I'm going to b 20 in July. I'm from Chicago,IL. I have been living in Minnesota for about 8 years. I moved to St Paul MN when i was 13. I'm a young African American Woman who is independent and hard working. My mother has 4 kids 3 boys and 1 girl she was a single mom for most of her life. I'm the only girl and I'm the oldest child my mom has. I'm a senior at Gordon Parks High School I've been going here for about 3 years. I've also been living on my own for about 3 years. I have my own apartment that i share with my boyfriend for the time being. My hobbies are hanging out with my friends and going to the mall. I love to read urban books or books written by black authors. I love to have fun with friends an I'm a very out going person and I'm very easy to get along with and I'm a good listener. Hello everyone my name is Briana Johnson I'm a 11th grader at gordon parks high school. I'm pregnant with a girl I'm due may 22nd 2013 and her name will be Ava Brilynn Johnson. I'm proud to be a mother i have big plans for me and my daughter. I will not drop out of school i plan to graduate. i will go to collage because i want to be a good example for my daughter. Im an african american women. I'm very good at sports. i live in St,paul with my mother 37,brother 14,and sister 18. I'm from A.t.l georgia i've been in minnesota for 11 years now.I can sing but I'm very shy when it comes down to it, but i love to be in the studio alone but ever since i got pregnant i haven't been to one. I was with my babys father but now we are separated but he will still be there for the baby. In the future i will open a pickle shop.
